How to take a COVID-19 Antigen Home Test via the Flowflex over-the-counter test kit. This video demonstrates positive vs negative COVID-19 sample test results.
To test for COVID-19, you can use an at-home antigen test. These test kits can be purchased in most retail stores.
This Flowflex COVID-19 test kit is meant for children ages 2 and up. The results are to be read after 15 minutes, but should not be read after 30 minutes, as it could be invalid after that point.
To use this kit, wash you hands, don gloves (if necessary), and remove the contents from the kit. Open the buffer tube and place in the test kit holder. Open the swab at the stick end, and swab the insides of the nose in a circular motion. Each nostril should take approximately 15 seconds to swab.
Place the swab into the buffer tube solution immediately, and swirl for 30 seconds. Squeeze the tube and rotate 5 times, and remove while still squeezing the tube. Attach dropper lid, and drop 4 drops into the sample well of the test cassette.
If lines appear on both control and test area after 15 minutes, the test is positive, and you should consult with your doctor. If the test is negative, a line should appear on the control (C) section only, and not on the test area.
You can continue to test every 48 hours using a new test to confirm results.
