Bibliobazar US FDA advises COVID vaccine makers to develop shots aimed at XBB.1.5 variant

The US Food and Drug Administration has advised manufacturers developing COVID-19 vaccines to develop shots tailored to the XBB.1.5 subvariant of coronavirus. Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and Novavax have already begun producing versions of their respective vaccines to target this and other currently circulating variants.
