Nursing students must learn the basics of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and walkers. In this video, you’ll learn the basic pattern of the 2-point gait with crutches.
For the two-point gait, the patient will first move the crutch on the injured side, while simultaneously moving the opposite foot forward. The crutch on the injured side and the opposite foot go together simultaneously.
